Festive Open Days

NOTE:

For those who have enjoyed our Christmas events previously, these open days are very different.

There will be no access to the courtyard and all activities will be centred around the platform and trains.

Please read the below thoroughly.

Strictly limited numbers and timed, pre-reserved bookings only!
Don’t be disappointed! Advanced booking essential!
Kick off the festive period at our Festive Open Days, with a reserved 90 minute time slot for unlimited train rides (just like our regular open days).

Little ones will be able to strike a pose with Father Christmas in his photo booth, during your pre-booked time slot. Don’t forget your snazziest Christmas jumpers!

As always, we will endeavour to minimise your queuing time (for both trains and to meet the big man himself), but as you can understand sometimes a short wait is unavoidable due to operational requirements (little trains can have issues just like the mainline!).
Your ticket will include:

  • Unlimited train rides during your 90 min slot
  • A short visit to meet Father Christmas in his Photo Booth (you can take your own photos!)
  • 1 mulled wine or hot drink & mince pie with all adult tickets
  • 1 squash & mince pie with all child tickets
  • Other refreshments, Lottie Shaws cakes & biscuits and ice cream will be available to purchase.

By submitting your booking request you are agreeing to the below:

  • Your timed ticket will admit all ticket holders to Millerbeck for unlimited rides during their time slot only
  • To control visitor numbers, all people must book a ticket (children’s tickets are valid up to 14 years old).
  • You must be prepared to only be at Millerbeck (including the car park) for your allotted time slot. We will only be able to accommodate you and your car at your booked time.
  • There will be different trains running continuously for you to enjoy, allowing you multiple rides during your visit
  • Please note, all tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable and not valid if resold. Only in the event of us cancelling will you be offered a transfer to a future date.
  • This is an all weather event with no cover. Come prepared! We operate in all weathers. Tickets will not be transferred or refunded due to rain.
  • Dogs on leads are permitted. Smaller, well-behaved dogs may be able to ride with you on the train. Please clear up after your dog.
You MUST be prepared to only be at Millerbeck during your allotted time slot.
